Our Current Task

7 10 2011

Our current task is to raise awareness of this mission and recruit prayer partners.  In fact we’d like to know of at least 50 people who have committed to pray for us as we plant a church in Hawaii.

Here are two things you can do to help right away:

1)    Commit to pray for us.  Please let us know that you will commit to pray for us.  Also let us know how you need to be updated on our progress and prayer needs.  There are several ways.  We can email you, you can join our Facebook page, or you can subscribe (click “sign me up” on the right hand side of this screen) to this blog.

2)    Help us spread the word about this project.  Post our blog and Facebook page to you Facebook, Google +, and Twitter accounts.  Believe it or not, just sharing our blog or liking something on our facebook page spreads awareness!  Also, put us on your church prayer lists and talk to your mission groups (WMU, Women on Mission, Men on Mission, etc) about us.

Here are our current prayer requests

  • That we can quickly pay off our last credit card.
  • That God will give us wisdom and clarity regarding the vision for the work He will do through us in Hawaii.  Pray that He would give us a clear set of core values to help guide our church plant.
  • That at least 50 people join in praying for our mission.
  • That our minds are open to learn everything we need to learn.
  • That we continue to follow the Lord’s guidance here in Birch Tree.  I do not want to become lazy or distracted regarding the work here.
  • That God will prepare the hearts of churches and individuals to partner with us.
  • That God will prepare the way for an awesome work in Hawaii.
