Aaron and Samantha Davis were born and raised in Springfield, MO.  They met in 1993 as college students at the University of Missouri and married in 1997.  They have one son, Caleb who is 10 years old.  In 2009, they took in Cody, and let’s face it, he’s family too!  Cody serves in the United States Army.  He is currently preparing to begin studies at Whitworth University.  In June of 2013, Aaron and Samantha became foster parents to Kerry (age 3).  Kerry enjoys exploring and playing with Sienna, the family beagle.

Aaron has been in full-time ministry since 2000.  He has served in churches in Arkansas and Missouri and has lead several mission trips to El Salvador.  He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  Prior to setting out on this church planting journey, Aaron was the pastor of First Baptist Church of Birch Tree, MO for six years.

Samantha is a stay at home mom.  In the past, she has also worked as a teacher in a Christian school.  She hold a General Studies degree from the University of New Orleans with emphasis in art, education, and multi-cultural studies.

Caleb is a fourth grader at Holomua Elementary School in Ewa Beach where he excels.  He loves baseball and recently represented Ewa Beach on the Minors All Star Team.  Caleb was born in the Republic of Kazakhstan and adopted by Aaron and Samantha when he was 10 months old.

Aaron and Samantha have long been aware of the need for the Gospel to spread on the islands of Hawaii.  In July of 2012, they relocated to Ewa Beach, HI where they serve as church planters.

So exciting to find this page. Kandy Blumbaugh posted it on FB.

My husband, Mark Donnell and I talked with Aaron at the NOBTS luncheon in November. At that time our son in law and daughter were in prep to be moving to HI. Well they moved in February, 2 weeks after finding out she was pregnant with our first grandchild! Our Aaron is proudly serving in the US Navy and they live in Pear City. The have joined First Southern Baptist Church Pearl Harbor. A small church with lots if military families.

Mark and I visited them in May and we will be returning in September when Audtey Marie is due to make her arrival.

Where will you be living? What church is sponsoring you? Do you know yet where you will be starting a church? Maybe we could connect you with our kids. Having just moved there, they may be able to answer some questions or give some ideas, that those who have been there awhile wouldn’t think to tell you.

Looking forward to hearing great things that God will do in your future.
